Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Jera7, a web development company based in Mafra, Portugal. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our Services

Jera7 provides web development and related services, including but not limited to:

• Custom web application development
• Full-stack development (frontend and backend)
• UI/UX design
• E-commerce solutions
• Domain registration and hosting
• Email configuration
• Ongoing maintenance and support

Services are offered through our pricing plans (Launch, Growth, Business, and Custom), each with a 12-month minimum contract period.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment of all fees, the client receives full ownership of the custom code and design assets created specifically for their project. Jera7 retains the right to use general-purpose code, libraries, frameworks, and tools that are not unique to the client's project. We also reserve the right to showcase the completed project in our portfolio, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

• A setup fee is due upon project commencement
• Monthly fees are billed at the start of each billing period
• All plans require a 12-month minimum commitment
• Loyalty discounts are applied automatically from the second year onwards
• Late payments may result in suspension of services after a 15-day grace period

Client Obligations

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information necessary for the project
• Respond to requests for feedback and approvals in a timely manner
• Ensure that all content you provide does not infringe on third-party rights
• Use the delivered services and products in compliance with applicable laws

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jera7 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement under the following conditions:

• By the client: with 30 days written notice after the minimum contract period
• By Jera7: in case of material breach by the client, with 15 days notice to remedy
• By mutual agreement: at any time, in writing

Upon termination, the client retains ownership of all custom work delivered and paid for. Jera7 will provide reasonable assistance in transitioning hosting and domain services.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mafra, Portugal.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to active clients via email. Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
